XBOX 360 LOUDER than regular XBOX??

I just got my 360, and I only have one 360 game. I usually play Halo 2. Anyway, when I play Halo the 360 is very quiet, but when I put in my 360 game it is much much louder. Is this normal? I am concerned cause I purchased the 360 game used. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Its normal. remeber the th 360 games get easly scracthed. i wiped it using my shirt and i ended up having minor scratches on it.

also, goto the back of the xbox and you should see a MFD (Manu Facture Date). See if its made secently in 06.

Xbox tech line blamed my tv, sound system, then the fact I have my XBOX vertical. Ridiculous.
