I just wanted to let my voice be heard on this topic. Gears of Wars is a very good game however it lacks alot of precision that perfect games have. Even after playing the game for only an hour I managed to get myself stuck in walls, get chainsawed through stone, lost first person scoping and all controls, while not being able to connect to xbox live sessions and not rendering surfaces. I can't believe a game could be released with such horrible bugs. I want to start a petition for epic to fix these problems because as consumers we shouldn't accept such gross mistakes as a given. I would rather have a game with shitty game play and no glitches because at least I know what I'm getting myself into. With Gears, a perfect shot could mean you stuck in a wall watching yourself bleed out. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Stuck in walls? I've never had that happen. The chainsaw thing isn't too bad though, like when you try to chainsaw someone who's standing behind cover: realistically, the chainsaw would reach the guy.

I've never experienced loss of controls or connecting to Xbox Live matches (and my connection sucks lol). I have seen textures not load at first, but the alternative to that is long load times for the bump, parallax and displacement maps.

I'm not saying I don't believe you on some of the bugs, but overall, I think the game's pretty amazing.

Can you post some screen shots? I've never ran into any of those problems. And I haven't come across any posts about

Best bet... return the game to the store and tell them it's bad.

lol b4 u bash the game, consider other possibilities its more then likely ur disc since me and my bro have both played this game for atleast 40 hours each and we have not seen any of the problems u mentioned.

on the canal level you can shoot straight through the bridge walls by the lamposts, it's great getting sniper headshots through here, also ive been stuck in walls loads
