this is a first for me. i ripped gettsburg and do not have any sound for the first vob on the second side but the rest have sound. i used dvd decrypt and tried smart ripper and tried coping the vob right from the disk with out no luck can anyone help.

try dvddecrypter and burn the dvd to your hard as an iso file then just burn it to dvd

thanks but i can not do that it is to long of a movie. but i just used dvdxcopy xpress and it worked just fine.

you could also try dvd shrink

Use DVD Decrypter again. Now you need to compress most discs. Are you aware of that? You can do it with the free tool DVD Shrink which you can get under user guides in the link in my signature

the problem is when the vobs are ripped from the disk the sound is not with the VOB. and not all the vobs are with out sound. the only disks that have done this to me are gettysburg and gods and generals. and yes oriphus i do know that must disks need to be shrunk by taking things out and changing the biterate thank you thow. i am not new at this but i do thank you for your help and not giving me any smartass respounses like you see a lot here at afterdawn. and i do have the movie on 2 disks that becuase the movie take up two sides of a 2 sided DVD-9 disc and it looks good.
