Reinstalling Windows XP... keeps reseting the install process...?

I'm trying to Format and install XP onto a PC... The PC is about 6 months old and i've had XP installed on it since then.

Every time it boots up, it will read the XP Disk, i'll hit a button and it will start adding it's files... i pick the drive to format, (have done Quick format, then the 2nd time did a full format) it formats, installs the setup files... then when it restarts itself it goes right back to the beginning (installing the startup files) without me hitting any buttons to "start" the cd.

Any ideas what could be causeing this? I thought maybe a button on the keyboard is stuck, but there is'nt.
