i just burned a dvd movie with Nero burning rom. i used convertxtodvd to create the video_ts folder and then went to burn it.
the dvd burned fine and works on my home player, but whenever i first loaded it, it played the movie immediately and wouldn't load the menu screen. after ff'ing through the movie, it then loaded up the menu, and i could play the movie again, and go back to the menu by pressing the button on my remote. how can i go about making it load the menu first?

also, in the video_ts folder, there is a .vob of about 15 mins of the movie. it doesn't seem to have caused any problems, and the main .vob includes the fragment, but it took up extra burn space. any reason why it made an extra .vob of the little file?

You need to uncheck the Auto-Start playback option do this by going to Settings then Authoring.
