GOt myself a 360 today, but have been trying to sign up to live (using my free 1 month) but keep getting signups not currently available, please try again later.

Looking on the XBOX Live forums, it appears to have been going on for sometime.

Anyone know why this is happening and when it will be fixed?

I just signed up a new profile like a month ago and it worked. Did you try to make your gamertag and link it on xbox.com?

ALl Ive done is try signing up through console.

They put out a new update today, maybe it's slowed their servers or caused some problems.
