Ok i downloaded scarface ps2 game and used dvd dycypter and burn it as an iso. When i use it with my swap magic it loads but comes to a blank black screen. thats where im stuck at. im using Memorex DVD+R 16x but im burning at 4x. So im a having this problem becuz of the disc im using? do i need to use DVD-R? Help me plz Thankyou

do you have swap magic 3 CODER version 3.8? b/c ive got that and my SM DVD doesn't boot up at all....and what are all the tools you use?

to answer your ?, i think it might be b/c of you using DVD+R b/c when i looked at the description for swap magic, it only said CD-R and DVD-R and nothing about DVD+R....before you go out and buy a stack of DVD-R's i would wait for someone else to respond b/c im not 100% sure

ok Big D i download the game off a website that i use and extract it in WinRAR. From that u get the ISO file with should b a few Gbs for ps2 games. u use DVD Decrypter and go to mode and then to ISO write. Then u pull up the file by browsing to wherever u saved ur file. Then burn Thats all i did and i tried sony DVD+R and same thing happen, im guessing i need dvd - r

I burned scarface this afternoon with my Fujifilm 16x DVD+R disc at 6x speed using DVD Decrypter and the game has worked fine, as a matter of a fact my Buddy is playing it right now and has been playing it for a few hours now with no lags or black screens... I used swap magic 3.6 plus and cdloader 7 to boot it.

^ Just some info for reference, also as suggested above try better media for better results, other games may have worked fine with those disc but some games will not take it.

im using sony 16x DVD+R now and same thing happens for scarface but it works for another game i downloaded with is a 2004 game. is this becuz new games have something on it thats not letting me boot? whats zoneloader?

Zoneloader is basically like Swap Magic but it works with more games. Try that with Scarface and it will definitely work.

I don't know why you guys have problems with Scarface.. I was able to boot it up and play with no problems with my Swap Magic V2.0
