So I'm a complete n00b, sadly. I just got this PSP and suprisingly enough, it was a 1.5. I have some emulators on it and roms and it's cool and all but I'm really interested in 3.01. I was thinking of keeping this PSP at 1.5 for homebrew stuff, then buying another used one and upgrading that from whatever it is to 3.01. So does anyone have any advice on what to do from here?

Upgrade and say good bye devhook i will not be using you FOR A LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Problem with us we keep asking for more.Do it and you shall flame this forum begging for a 3.x downgrader.

Personally I don't think the 3.01's functions are good enough to be a reason to upgrade. Eventually there will most likely be a DevHook for 3.01 too, so don't bother.

You will be wasting your time upgrading to 3.01

One of these days they will have Devhook running on 3.01 and then you gonna be totally screwed as you gonna have to wait for a downgrader before you can do anything.

Also the obvious fact that you will also be saving yourself some money by not having to buy a second PSP.
