Burning Video from Sony Handycam DCR-SR80 to Dual Layer DVD

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-SR80 and have captured about 2 1/2 hours of video, which uses about 7.3GB. I want to burn this to 1 DVD+R DL. I've captured the video on my computer using the ImageMixer software that came with the camera, but when I use the "Burn to DVD" option, I get a message saying "Write Failed". If I try to burn to a DVD+R, I get a message saying "No room Left on Disk".The DVD drive I'm using is a Samsung TS-H552B, and I've burned dual layer, and regular DVD's with other applications.I also have a Sony DVD Direct burner, and the manual for it says the dual layer disks aren't supported for HDD cameras. Is that because of the MPEG2-PS format? Is there a software package that will let me capture the video off this camera and convert it to a format that will work with my burner and let me get this video on one disk?
