Okay so I have a Matrix Infinity installed in my PS2 and now I'm just wondering what the hell to do? I upgrade the firmware and install the Infinity Manager right? Which comes first? lol.. I dunno the whole thing has left me confused. If someone could help please.

when you upgrade the firmware do you have to do it in order, or can you just update the most recent? sorry for noobness.

Small correction here ....

The MI manger has nothing to do with configuring the chip. The chip configuration for the MI is withing the MI's firmware (FW). You access the configuration menu by holding down circle and triangle from standby then tap reset until you see the config screen appear.

The MI manger is the Matrix Teams very own homebrew launcher. It allways you to install homebrew apps like HDL, SMS and others. Once its installed you can access it by holding triangle from standby and tapping reset. I however replace the MI manger with ULE wich is the ultimate homebrew launcher, filemager, JPG viewer for the PS2. You can even skin ULE with custom skins like the ones found at http://www.allps2skins.com
