How is the most reliable to buy a premodded PS2 from?

I've searched threads for a premodded PS2 here but all I got were 2005/2004 topics so I'm wondering what the best site is I did xmodds.com but their # don't work either does their e-mail work

all I get is a failed mesage will retry to send so am I am being scammed? if you got an alternative to find a good deal on a premodded ps2 + matrix infinity please post it,that's legit. I placed my order on the 24th and no this isn't xmodd.com another site that seems to had died.

I don't know much about xmodds or anything but i know teamodders is a reliable place to get pre-modded and have your console modded, if you need the url PM me or google it because i don't know if the moderators will allow it.

thanks for the help,but they only accept paypal and checks i dont really trust a site that uses checks in any type of way...any more? im getting pretty pissed off with xmodds.

I also ordered from xmodds and apparently have been scammed. Thanks to sites like this giving positive feedback and him actually interacting on them, I figured it was fine...but evidently either he died, got arrested, or decided to just start ripping everyone off. I ordered a premodded ps2 a month ago, had my credit card billed immediately, waited about 2-3 weeks, sent a polite email asking what the deal was and sending the information I got in my email receipt, and then received no reply. After waiting another week or so, I sent another email, and still haven't heard back from that yet. I think he just took the 250 and ran. Is there any way to browse user's posts? I'm curious as to when he disappeared off this site, as I'd really like to get a hold of him...if I can't and continue not receiving the item, I'm going to have to see what legal action I can take. Taking 250 dollars and giving NOTHING in return but an email receipt is just not cool, and based on the other customer reviews I've been able to find regarding the site over the last few months, this is something he's done to everyone starting in about the second half of the year. He should DEFINITELY be taken off the trusted buyers list here until these problems get resolved, as it is what referred me to him.

I'll second Teammodders. I bought a premodded PS2 from them. No problems whatsoever. They were very patient with all of my questions, and answered them fully. Quick shipping too, and I'm all the way up in Canada. You really can't go wrong with them.

http://www.buymodchips.com is a good site,just ordered from them a few days ago its shipping today
plus they got FREE shipping for Nov/Dec on modded systems,etc. they got some pretty decent prices.

had 1 ps2 modded by these guys http://www.trustedmods.com/ and had 2 friends buy premoded ps2s from them and they all work great .

I used http://www.modchipman.com many moons ago when i got my pre-mod. Also used them for my pre-mod G-Cube so they are very reliable as well but no sure if they still do pre-mods anymore.

I have a related question. Is the DSM4 S.E. the best chip for the Ps2 now?

I ordered a modded ps2 from buymodchips.com in the beginning of june and NEVER received it. Frankly, i don't believe they are a legitimate business. I mean it's been 3 weeks since i ordered online from them and did not receive any update. Meanwhile my credit card has been charged. Don't trust them. I sure won't anymore.

I'd recommend Team Modders or NorCal Mods. Davbere is the installer at Team Modders and does great work - my personal system came from him and works fantastic two years after the fact.

Haven't had any personal experience with NorCal Mods, but the site owner is active on various PS2 forums and also does fantastic work.

Both sites have all kinds of installation pictures, so you can see what you're getting.
