sawp magic 3 not working?

i just brought swap magic for my PAL ps2 i got the flip lid with it. i then went and brought final fantasy 12 NTSC import and all i get when i put do what the guide says is the ps2 game is not valid. i tried a normal PAL game and i got the same thing could any one tell me what this could be.

Was this import an original DVD or a burnt/backup DVD-R copy ? Also i'm pretty sure you did but did you also try NTSC mode ?

EDIT:: Oh yeah and also... are you using swap magic cd or dvd version to boot it ?

yeh its a proper game i got imported and i tryed a PAL game which i brought the other day and it said the same this ps2 disk is not valid. and i did try NTSC mode and it still happned. i have tried both disks. whats the difrents in disks any way. is ther anything else it might b.

Ok well my only suggestion would be to try downloading a iso called "zoneloader dvd" (google it) burn it to a disc and swap it using the swap magic dvd then when it loads it's almost the same as swap magic but better compatibility with games, try it out.

BTW: The difference between swap magic dvd and cd is that the cd version is to boot cd based ps2 games (some of the earlier games) And the DVD version boots dvd based games which is almost everything that is released now.

ok i tryed burining the iso to disk put swap magic in and yet again it says not a valid ps2 disk. as i said i have tryed a PAL game an nothing happen it just says not a valid ps2 game do u fink there could be somthing rong with the swap magic disk.
