ok. heres the problem. this might seem long but please bare with me.
this is futureshop (CANADA). i got an xbox 360 premium package at 499.99. it came to a total of 569.99. i didnt get any psp, or extended warranty or anything.
in the premium package, the was the 360 console, the headset, ethernet cable, a/v cables, power plug, 1 wireless controller, a 12gb harddrive, g.r.a.w (which i stated in another post, didnt work), and some arcade thing. outside of the box, i got gun and the outfit (NOT IN THE BOX), with the package. its been almost a week, and have decided to return the entire package. so i go to futureshop, and they tell me they have to reduce the cost of gun, and the outfit because i opened those games. they are reducing it because of some copyright laws. so they subtracted nearly 100$! instead of getting my full 570$ back, i got 473$.
aside from all this, i was supposed to get ridge racer 6, but they didnt have any in stock. they were going to give me even lessl, but i complained and they decided to let that go.
so, in the end, i lost 100$. i got to keep gun, and the outfit even though i didnt want them. they told me that if i didnt want them, i should go to eb games and trade them, but eb said they would only give me a total of 11$ total for both games.
should i file a complaint or go with the BBB or something? im not really sure what to do.

If you open games, movie dvd, etc. you can still get a full refund? He opened the games he bought separtately from the unit.
In the US, once you open games, dvds, music cd's (any digital media), they're your's (unless defective... then it's just an exchange for the same copy). This is to stop people from buying them, copying, and then returning for a full refund.
So it makes perfect sense what they did to you. And Gun and The Outfit are old games, so ya... they're worth next to nothing once you open them.

i didnt buy the gun and outfit seperately, they came WITH the package, but NOT inside the box itself.
