Ok, say I don't want to have it on 2 cd's, I just want a normal 700mg avi file, so it can fit on 1 CD. I assume I just select that size in the calculator and change the kbit/sec number in the video. I hope thats all i need to do, I really don't want a 2 cd movie. If thats the way to go about it great, if not, someone tell me. thanks guys, great stuff your doin.

Yes, that's exactly what you need to do -- change the length of the CD in place of the 1300MB (or whatever it is in guide) and you get the correct bitrate.
