i downladed a bittorrent file somewhere along the name of utorrent.i also downloaded madden 07 as a torrent file.when the utorrent started to upload madden 07 i thought the download would take only about 20 min based on the speed of my computer.when i came back 10 min after i saw the upload rate at 1.1kb/s.at this rate i would need to wait 1 full week for a ps2 game.can somebody please tell me how i can make my downloads fasters.

Torrents usually do not use your Internets speed to the fullest, torrents reply on seeders which are people who have the file completely downloaded on their PC and are sharing the file, leechers are people downloading it is best to go for well seeded files and seed after (leaving the torrent running) There is a way to make torrents speed a little bit faster but it requires you to have a router and some kind of broadband,dsl or cable connection.... you can find the guide here just open the ports on your router and pc and you should be getting some pretty decent speeds: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/73686
