How to copy the sims 2 pets

hey
Could any one help me how to copy the sims 2 pets it has a dummy file and i used iso buster to extract the files put them all into a folder then made a another dummy file and pushed the space bar then saved and put that there instead of the real dummy file then burned using Nero the way this guide on this site told me too but it would not play on my ps2 i am using swap magic and have copyied about 6 games so far and they have all worked but they didnt have dummy files in them!!
