watching dvd FILES (ripped dvds) with media center?

what do i need to do to watch a ripped dvd through media center - id like to do that so i can use the remote

ive been ripping my dvds into the video_ts format - do i just need to put these files in a certain place or should i rip the dvds differently or how do i configure media center

any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll need a Virtual Drive Emulator, like Daemon Tools. You can download it from this site. In order for a ripped /iso or /ifo disk to be played, it must be mounted to a virtual drive; hence, you need to emulate a drive. If you have Alcohol 120%, it can emulate as well, although I'd recommend Daemon Tools as it seems to me more compatable.
