Ok. Hi all. I am not new to the PSX/PS2 scene. That being said, let me state my problem.

I would like to know if it is possible (and I am 90% sure it is, I just can't find the right resources) to play your PS2 games off your external USB HDD connected to your PS2.

To be more specific, I DONT want to have to purchase usb extreme/hdd advance. I already have the patched free version of HDDLoader (which is as good as HDD advance).
I have the MC exploit installed on my card, i am using the boot loader LaunchElf (version 3.4). Its quite nice, and has USB support. But i am missing a link somewhere. I have been swimming through tutorials and at this point have lost linear thought haha. Hence I am asking for your assistance.

The boot loader picks up my USB HDD np. However HDDloader doesn't (not a surprise, its meant for native PS2 HDD).

BTW I am a swap magic 3.8 coder user; I used that to install the MC exp. If anyone would care to help me out with this regard, I'd appreciate it very much.

U need to use USB advance not hdloader :) (Google will find it)
And did you format the HDD right, and put the games on using that tool from the usbextreme site?
