Devhook 0.5 on fw 2.71 SE help needed

I have tried a lot of 0.5 downloads now on this firmware but I cannot get it to work. Does anyone have a simple method of getting this to work

I tried that one earlier t least I get the devhook menu with this one but I still cannot load any ISO's with it

I have reformatted psp now, what settings do you use to get it working and I'll try install it again. Do the other two folders (not the dh one) go in the game 150 folder

Depending what firmware your running V1.50 or SE-C.
Leave Clock Speed at default.
And file emulation to run your ISo.

I am running SE and have left clockspeed at default but no joy, do they other 2 folders go in game150?

Have you RECOVERY installed?
Just place the dh folder in the root and place DevHook from the SE-C in the GAME folder.
I have Mercury working fine on my PSP here.

I do have recovery installed

When i put the other 2 devhook folders in game nothing happens

If i put the folders in game 150 folder then at least i get the devhook menu up

Your GAME folder isnt running 1.50 KERNAL.
Switch PSP off completey hold R trigger turn it back on.
GAME FOLDER HOMEBREW: should be running 1.50 kernal.
EXIT,
Connect PSP to PC Rename GAME to GAME271
Then rename GAME150 to GAME.
Sounds way out leftfield but trust me.

All your homebrew (apart from 271 kernal) goes in the GAME folder.
Place DevHook from the SE-C folder into GAME.

still not working

just tried to load pro evo 6 which works fine by itself on 2.71 SE

Used these settings

umd select pro evo 6
firmware 2.82
cpu clock default
boot mode xmb menu

when i start psp screen goes black and turns off

Leave firmware alone.
Go to OTHER MENU and select UMD SFO VER FIX 2.00
And make sure you have a UMD in the drive.

sudds does the GAME fodle rhave to be running 1.5 kernal? mines 2.71 kernal and theres another fodler clled GAME150

See this is what confuses people.
You can either have GAME running 1.50 kernal or 2.71 kernal.
Most homebrew you use is 1.50 kernal.
So just to make things handier, have the GAME folder run 1.50 kernal.
And create another one beside it called GAME271 incase you decide to use 2.71 kernal.

This has really cocked my psp up

I downgraded to 1.5 and back up again to 2.71 SE now I can't play ISO, just comes up with 'The game could not be started (80020321)'

Any ideas?

Have you made your ISO folder?
Have you made GAME to run 1.50 Kernal?
Have you a UMD in the drive?
