I am currently in China and want to buy a 360 but the only ones that are available to me are the hk/asian or japanese versions. The most important thing to me is that when I bring it back to the states I'll be able to play the american games. Is the difference in region settings a hardware or software thing? If I were to flash my xbox would it make it region free. I'm a little confused about that.
