About 4 weeks ago i bought an Xbox360 console with the 20gb hard drive, 2 wireless controllers, & 4 games (Pro Evo 6, Just Cause, NBA 2k6 & Project Gotham Racing 3)..

Everything was fine foe the first couple of weeks,
until i tried to play PGR 3 last week.
When i put the disc in the console & tried to play it, it wouldn't let me & was coming up with an error message.

The message was:
To play this game, insert it into an xbox360 console.

Now it's started doing this with all 4 games & the odd dvd!!
Why is this happening?
I was thinking of flashing my drive, but now that i'm having problems already (only 2 weeks old :-0 ) i don't think i'll bother.
The worst thing is, the disks are fine.
nba 2k6 has a couple of light scratches but nothing
it shouldn't be able to handle.

I paid out almost £400 for the console & games for my sons xmas
& am extremly pissed off to say the least..
I was wondering if anyone knows of anything i can do?

just send it back check all your seting first you get at least 3 months warranty

or could i take it back to the shop (gamestation in glasgow)

I accidentally switched the HD button over from standard, and because I wasn't getting any picture, I thought my 360 was stuffed. I rang Microsoft and they said I could go back to the where I bought it from and get a replacement.

yes just send it back to the shop tell them what is up with it they will test it then shud replace it or ring the Microsoft help line

How old was you xbox360 when you contacted microsoft
& they told you you could get a replacement?

A friend told me you only get 30 days warranty, is this true?
With shaun384 saying you get at least 3 months & my "friend" saying 30 days, im a bit confused..

just grab a new one and replace this one into that box and return it..
