I want to say take one song from each of my concert dvd's and make my own compilation. Whats the best software to do that ?

Cheers Ripper (ps - I got owned !)

Unfortunately I need to split a single song from a VOB file that contains many. So I need something to do that. I have tried ripping an entire VOB file to AVI then slplitting the various songs I want using editing software (Premiere 6.0 and Nero express2)and then re-authoring as a new movie however its very time consuming and the quality is poor by the end of the process. Nero is hard to use as it shows the vision but not the audio so difficult to split the scene with any precsion.

Do you recommend this is the only process and if so I was wondering whether (for example) Nero 7 could do the job so I will upgrade if necessary (or use something else)

Hi Ripper

I just realised smart ripper will extract the song ! as chapters so need need for any more help on that front.

Can you tell me whether Nero7 is worth getting to compile and re-author ?

If you want to burn the tracks to a CD then I'd say Nero is the program for the job :-)
