whenever i try to burn an iso to a disk it doesnt work in my ps2. but when my friend does it for me his disks work. im using the dvd decryptor method and i ripped kingdom hearts 2 but it didnt work. my friend says he uses Alcohol 120% but would that make a difference? thanks! also we are using the exact same disks

it should make no difference if you use DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120%
I have use DVD Decrypter for years with nothing but great results.
It may also be that his burner has better media compatibility and his will burn the same brand of disc better than yours. You can try going here to see if you have updated firmware for yours which will help with that http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php
you will need to know your current firmware and model number.

are you burning your discs at the same speed as he does?
and what brand and speed is the media you use?

yes..different media have different success rates. Verbatim is a good choice of dvds

i upgraded my phillips DVD +- RW DVD8631 from a CD21 to GD30. Will that fix the problem?
