I am trying to install the ps2 exploit to my ps2 mc. I followed a guide, but now I have a problem. I loaded EXPINST.ELF and got the following error: "ERROR: failed to load cdvd.irx". I have that file in the root directory like the guide says. I tried it with cd and usb drive, but both give the same error.

Can someone help me with this?

You should just use "independence compiler 4.1".

Its the easiest way to create the memory card exploit.

Independance compiler is like nood proof :) I didnt think you could go wrong with that.

You just load up swap magic or if you have a chip.
Then put the cd in with the exploit you created using the compiler, and it should install automatically?

Where abouts is this error happeneing. And how are you loading the exploit? Are you doing it through launchelf or something?

I'm using action replay max media player. From that, I launched EXPINST.ELF.

Using independence compiler, I saved it as a bin/cue and tryed Nero 7. This did not work. Action replay did not recognize the cd.

Then I used independence compiler to make the files, then I made a cd using max media creator. It loaded, went to a black screen, then gave the error. I tried it with max media creator with usb and cd. Both give the same error.

Has anyone else had this problem?
