will swapmagic 3.2 cd version work with FF XII?

more importantly, will it work well? load times? any other problems? I have hd advance 2.0 but my understanding is even with patch it will be choppy. Please advise?

I use DVD Swap Magic 2.0 and it works fine, don't know about 3.2 specifically though.

The usa swap magic I bought came with dvd ver 2 and cd ver 3. I found the dvd to make load times very slow but was pleased to discover the cd SM cd could boot dvd games just fine and with out the poor load times. Indeed, Once I discovered this I stopped using the SM dvd alltogether.
I have just downloaded the FFxII torrent and will now see about adding the patch so I can play my HD advance 2.0. I wonder what method will play best- SM or HD advance. Shall I not bother with patch and hd advance. (I've never added a ps2 patch before.) Will I be better off with SM
