Because I have a PAL ps2, i use swap magic and NTSC games play in black and white unless i go to PAL which causes the game not to work properly. I bought this : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...19493&rd=1&rd=1

I removed the original PS2 scart lead and put this one in and put it on game. The screen went a little smaller and when I chose NTSC the games were still in black and white.

your TV is most likely PAL as well and some will not support the color carrior signel in NTSC format and will result in a B&W pic, nothing you can do about that, it's the TV. the fix is to go with a RGB component cable not a DVI.
