I already have a slim flip top but no slim at the moment, I am kind of afraid to open up a brand new one when I buy it and put the flip top in and mess it up so I was wondering if anyone could instruct me on how exactly to do it?

The FAQ does not really do it justice because I am not sure if you need to just loosen the two screws that hold the top on, or remove them.

Would you rather suggest getting the magic keys? Are they tough to put in/Do they ever fall out of place?

Thank you.

The tools aren't that hard to install, trust me. A little patience, a torch and some attention to detail and you should be fine.

I have installed two types of "C" tools. The first one (The rectangular one for v12's) is harder to install than the current weird looking thin-ish one, IMO.

Can the tools fall out of place easily?

Also, should I buy the tools for the new model black ps2 or the silver?

Depending on the Keys Quality.
Magic Keys II are of very good quality, they don't come out so easily. There are Magic Switch Pro with are also good, but not recommended because the adhesive for tool a is weak and requires some tape to hold it down.
Buy the latest one (possibly for the newer models), because its compatible with all slimlines.
