Hi there!

I recently downloaded from a pvt tracker a compilation of nigh on all Sega MegaDrive ROMS plus a PGEN emulator in order to play Sega MegaDrive games on PS2.

However, shock horror, my beloved Buck Rogers is missing, and I wish to add the ROM to the appropriate folder, but have had no success in doing so. I've tried the old method of rebuilding ISO's to no avail (didn't know what to put in as a SLUS number) as well as Apache not recognising the ISO as a valid PS2 disk (I just used WinRAR and hoped that the format was identical to put the folders back in the right order).

Harumph! No result. Any ideas from you guys? It's not your usual question I know... but if you could be of assistance, I'd carry your first borne... and maybe eat it.

And if anyone could tell me why the hell my backups skip on my PS2 and not my friends I'd love to know. :D

Can't help you with the ROM question, but the skipping issue is most likely due to your friend's laser being better than yours. ie: Newer, or better looked after. You should try cleaning it once a week.
