Wii, if you really like the remotes concept and moving around to do some action in the game.
For everything else (and more), there is Xbox 360.

Could you tell me why? I recently bought a X360 myself and would just like to know.
I am playing Xmen and GoW and i am enjoying the experience yet. And how the hell do you aim quickly in GoW. It takes ages for me aim towards an enemy. Am i spoiled by my mouse or is there something i am missing here?

I think Xbox 360 is a pretty kickass console and mind you I've been a pretty big Sony supporter since the PS1 launch. BTW flashing, not modchips is the way to go with 360 and if you are interested in playing backups, Xbox 360 is the only next gen console capable of that right now. LT is the quick aim for GOW.

they made it so that you do not stay zoomed in all the time, so what you have to do is, wait till you can see your enemy and then scope in, and if they start running, then scope out and when you get back onto them scope in again.
i am not sure if thats what you meant, but i hope it helps.
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

Well, its sought of a conscience thingie. Well if you read one of my other thread you all ready know that i had to return my xbox for a new one. And now i keep thinking that the one i currently have is defected.
Plus budget wise Wii is alot cheaper. Also i currently have no HDTV, and you cant really enjoy the graphics without it.

Thats what. You zoom in with LT and move your right analogue stick to center the aim at the enemy, correct? thats whats troubling me. I cant see to do it quickly. Maybe i need to get used to it?

Or pick up that XFPS when it's released. I'm getting one if they don't want an arm and a leg.

Anywho, go for 360 or ps3... I'd only get a Wii for games like Zelda and Metroid, period. The rest is like mini-kiddie-games.
360 is the way to go now, but if ur interested in homebrew stuff too (mind sony's ever-updating firmware thingie) then keep an eye on the ps3. . . i n f u t u r e . . .
Furthermore, I only bought the 360 cause I bricked my xbox and nuked my ps2. The games don't interest me as much, so even though we can all flash our 360's, I'm not that eager to.
SO in the end it's all about your goals with ur console...but to keep this thread consistant: GO FOR 360!!!
