Rebuilt, Patch Not working!!! Any help guys??

i have rebuilt fifa 07, works fine, didnt bother patching the dnas at the time as thort i would reburn and patch at later date!

so i followed the how to patch info, seem to be doin correctly,
openin up the image with windip scan for patch, verify, enter dnas details, patch!
yet when i try and load the newly burnt copy it wont load! ps2 disc not valid!

so what am i doin wrong, is it because i am burning from the already rebuilt copy?

i have tried it by just burning the rebuilt copy and patching and re burning that, and also rebuilding and patching the already rebuilt image!!
