im trying to get online with disc 2 but whenever i try it says

udp port deck failed
(518:258)
but i can go online with my other games(copyies and real ones fine)

1.metal gear is a real disc
2.im in a PAL area
3.the disc is PAL

please help

You need to forward the correct UDP ports/configure UDP correctly within your router.
Or, connect directly from PS2 to modem, save yourself some hassle.

i connected from
the phone line.
to a brodband box.which has 4 ports
1 to the computer
1 to the ps2.

does it make a difference if i have a matrix infinity.i turn it off every time i go online with real games and i have no problium
