Hi, I've searched the archives and seen people have audio sync troubles with Sizzle when splitting a DVD into 2. I have audio sync troubles with Sizzle also, but in a different situation:

The audio of my DVD is pitched too high and it's playing too fast. This is partially offset by brief audio dropouts right from the very beginning of the movie. However, the audio is out of sync by a second or more within 30 seconds of the start of the movie. I know the original aif is okay, and so is the mp2 that MediaPipe creates. The pitching and dropouts only appear after Sizzle muxes the stream and creates the image. I just downloaded the latest Sizzle yesterday and no change. Any ideas?

Okay, here's what I'm trying to do:

I have several old DiscoVision laserdiscs that I'm trying to back up to DVD before they and/or the player disintegrate. I run the video/audio into my Mac through a DV bridge into iMovie. I'm trying to fill a DVD by combining 2 movies together (I have many Disney discs about 47 minutes each) and encoding them with BitVice. This works well, and then I encode the resulting aif to mp2 with MediaPipe. This also goes well. It's only after Sizzle muxes/creates the disc image that I have bad audio.

Thanks for any help/ideas.
