Hello guys , as u can see i'm new here and i'd like to ask u as more experienced in psp games.I have a psp with 1.0 (1.5) version and i installed devhook 0.46 with 2.71fw. I try to play pes 6 cso but the game after the selection of the language and the konami logo it freezes and the screen turns black. i use:

umd select : psy-pes.iso.cso
fw: 2.71
cpu clock: 222/111
boot select : reboot xmb

what am i doing wrong plz answer me .Thanx in advance :)

I am having the same problem, I will try a rip-kit although my guess is it wont help fix the problem. I have the same setup you do + devhook v0.51 emulating 3.01 FW.

If you find a solution please post it!

extract the cso and remove the update folder and pt it back together with umdgen. i did the and it works fine.

Thx for the reply. I just tried the rip-kit and it worked. I guess your suggestion would work also if that's what the rip-kit removed.

no ripkits relink movies and removes dummy files...u can do tht manually on UMDGEN but its easier with a ripkit
