Ok this is the problem

I got a xbox crystal edition with i think a evox modchip. I still got the original HDD in it. It all worked perfect until i installed the Slayers Evox 2.6. I think i did a wrong handling and when i turned the xbox on after installing i got a error screen with i think it was 13 left up in the corner. What I did ( not a good thing i think ) was I copied the C: from a modded xbox with slayers evox on it to my crystal xbox and it worked perfect..... for one hour. When i turn my xbox on now the xbox does this:

power on, green, red, green, red.. power off
power on, green, red, green, red.. power off
power on, green, red, green, red, green, red and the xbox stays on from now.

I dont get any screen on my tv just black.

Can anyone please help me ? I tried to reset my xbox hd with xboxhdm 1.9 but it says my HDD is locked.

There are many reasons for this. Your xbox motherboard might be cracked or something bad might have happened to it, bad bios flash or your mod-chip might be not soldered correctly.

sounds like you accidently flashed the BIOS of the chip with all your doings. EvoX is an application and a dashboard, it's not a modchip. IF (and that's a big if there) you have a chip and it wasnt a softmod to start with, then let us know what chip you have and we can get you back on the right trick to getting it set back up.

kc

EDIT: the error 13 was from the f'd up dashboard kernel.

it's defiantly an Aladdin XT+ (non live) http://www.aladdin-chip.com/ you can flash it with Xecuter2 or EvoX BIOS's best i remember, i havnt installed one in forever.

kc

EDIT: dug out my old notes on the Aladdin's.........

Burn the desired BIOS to CDRW or DVDR(W) named BIOS.BIN (i was using Xecuter 4981)

power on in Flash-Mode (hold power for 5 seconds: chip enabled - flash enabled (release power button when led is flashing))

DVD tray comes out and the XBox asks you to insert Disc
insert disc that contains your bios and close the tray

now you can watch the flashing-progress on the screen and after that the XBox shuts down

Hey again,

I really dont know how to fix this with the tutorial above. It says to push the power button for 5 sec but after 2 sec the xbox turns of and then turn on again. And it the xbox will not read anything. I really dont know what do do anymore.

sounds like the chip is fubar, I'm not sure if the Aladdin's have a PC programmer or not you might do some searching on the net and see, or check their website.

you can IF you have a backup of the EEPROM and the C/E drives but it's not an easy task and can be very frustrating to say the least. I'd suggest getting a new chip, the Xecuter X3ce and installing it, or at least borrow one from a friend who has one and use it to get your box back up and running, then you can soft mod it.
