NBA 2K7 won't load (boot disc)

NBA 2K7 won't work using my Gameshark2v2 boot disc. It just stays on the black screen when I press X to load it. It does work on my brothers machine though, he has a modchip (lucky bastard). Do I have to do anything about rebuilding or stuff that requires me to mod the image?

Edit: I also tried DVDloader and no luck, I get a message that goes "cannot validate disc"

Buy Swap Magic. The Gameshark method is useless for a large amount of games cos they're too big, even after rebuilding.

Hmm for Swap Magic, do I HAVE to get a Flip Top or Slide Keys? I get quite reluctant on opening up my PS2.

Of course you do. How else are you going to swap discs without the PS2 knowing? Same way as you MUST have some type of swap method (replacement fliptop case, slide card or magic keys) with the Gameshark.

Have you been pressing Eject to swap discs? lol. No wonder you can't get a game to boot!
