cant play a video file HELP!

i donwloaded x-men animated show but i cant seem to play the file
its says its a .vpc file what ever that is ? anyone have any ideas

you might try running the file through g-spot and find out what the file realy is, another thing you might try using vlc player it will play allmost any file
