Sorry guys need quick options on this, I recently got a Swap Disc, backed some games and started getting flicky scenes, thought it was the Media but Taiyo Yuden 16x DVD-Rs/ TYG03 DVD-R's arn't one's to be wrong are they so I did a DVD burn put it in my ps2 and voila saw skipping errors, then placed it into my PC, then my DVD player at at my friends house just to make sure and it worked fine. So my lazer is bugged. Does this mean it needs a clean or do I need a brand new one. Thank you so much! God Bless.

Btw I burnt a DVD movie onto the media to see what was up ^^

Most likely it needs a nice clean try opening it and cleaning it with compressed air and q-tip for the laser if you can at least read most media then i wouldn't say you need a new one but the time may be coming soon.
