Only way is to ask whoever did it, there isnt a way to find out other than that. Not to my knowledge anyway.

You have a version of OPA xtreme on your Hitachi drive. See if it will boot an original TW07 or GOW disc. If it works, you have 2.3
If not, you have something earlier.
