Modded Firmware w/ original games..

Just a thought/query, if MS do start swinging the ban bat what will be the fate for ppl with modded firmware who only use original games online?

I don't see why they still wouldn't ban you. In some regions it is still legal to own a backup of your original. But the original firmware is MS's property, period. To take it, reverse engineer it, modify it, and reapply it is illegal (everywhere).

You legally own the hardware (360) and can do whatever you want with it.

But the software needed to run that hardware is MS's property. No way around it.

That is why alot of people are still waiting for a "true" mod chip to come out for the 360.
