I wanted to know how can you get the best quality of a movie using DVD Shrink.

you might be able to make the quality better if you were to just have the movie backed up instead of having the whole disc

Main movie only is my main concern.

1) No menu-so autoplays as soon as you insert the backup disc
2) AC3 5.1 ch English only-or whatever your language-sound stream only-untick the rest.
3) Leave out dir's commentary,sub picture,or anything else
4) Set the start and stop frames-cut out most of ending credits to further reduce compression.
5) By reducing compression,the less likely you'll need the AEC quality enhancements of DVD Shrink.
6) Less compression = faster backup process time.
7) Last but not least: Use quality media!! It'll prevent a lot of playback issues.

There'll still be some main movie only flicks that will give you 10-30%+ compression. When you get over 10% compression-try the AEC quality enhancements of Max smoothness or Max sharpness for a better picture. Over 40%,you may see some blockiness in your playback. Some people can pick it up,others won't notice it-all depending on your TV sets.
