I don't know if this has happened to someone here but it happened to me many times, I am not making this up I shoot a guy first with a shootgun first I heard the gunshot from up close, I mean he was next to me and the guy still didn't die and he killed me with a chainsaw, somebody explain how is it happening and not only once.

with the shotgun it takes around 3 shots to kill him. and once he has started to chainsaw you, there isnt anything you can do.....you cant shoot, move...or do anything. hopefully that explains the issue.

NO I shot him up close and then he started chainsawing me and I should have won the confrontation.

Yeah, I found the shotgun and pistol pretty useless. The machine gun with the chain saw and sniper rifle were all I used outisde of the hammer of Dawn and a couple tourque bow arrows on the final boss.

so tell me this; have you ever killed somebody with one shot of the shotgun? IF so you probably will say that it was up close to the other guy and if you shoot at an even shorter distance and the shoot didn't stop the chainsaw like it's suppose to and says so in the instruction than believe me you will be pissed especially since that was the winning shot for the entire match for your team.

No, I never use that or the pistol, I use the Machine gun and the sniper rifle. If I am that close, I'll just chainsaw their ass.

get used to it, playing on live kinda sucks, there is lag and you don't know it. My suggestion is only host games cause then the shotgun will work very well. But there are so many glitches associated with both the shotgun and chainsaw.

excatly, but in my opinion the shotgun is the best weapon in the game, unless you like sniping. If you know how to use cover you will get near your opponent and kill him with one shot.
