I have two video cards with s-video ports.
1.) Geforce Ti4200
2.) ATI 9500 Pro

Can someone post on how to:
1.) Turn on the video input port so video comes from my TV to the computer and how do I incorporate the sound? I have purchased a RCA to sound card cable but not sure if it will work yet.
2.) Specify SOftware needed to capture the video. I have pinnacle studios but is another program worth it?
3.) Convert the video to the equivalent files that would be utilized when backing up a DVD movie. This is the big step.....how to do it for a beginner.
4.) Any extra tips that may come to mind to assist a person who is totally new to this aspect of DVD creation.
