alcool 120% or Dvd decrypter ?

Some people use alcool 120% instead of DVD Decrypter, why?

I still never found any difference after did my back up with both.

meh, i use Alcohol 120% cause it cost me money to get it therefore i should use it. But i still think they are pretty much the same

they are the two most popular for burning back up games
and are pretty much the same except for the options they have.
I use DVD Decrypter and have for years.
If all you want to do is burn an ISO then IMGburn, made by the guy who made DVD Decrypter, will do the trick. but it can not copy a disc like DVD Dcrypter can.

Alcohol 120% is also a really good program and i think has a bit more in the way of options. DVD Decrypter only rips and burns DVD files. And is very good at what it does.
I think Alcohol can burn other file types like CD files as well.


So my final conclusion. why not have them both just in case,
Heck i have DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120%, IMGburn, & Nero 7 Premium

ps: we can do many set up with alcool 120%, but who can tell us what is the most appropriate for do a back up for new release ps2?

i do not use a mod chip like you probably,but i use swap magic coder 3.8 and all new release game made right after november 15 do not work ;o( the orinal game back up twice and not only one like usually!
