I got a dog recently and she decided to chew through the chord on my fav ps2 controler

im very attached to this conrtoler because 1.it was a gift from a close friend. 2.It is from one of my fav series and 3.Its a mini controller and I find it more comfortable than the normal ps2 controller

I really want to fix it, but Im not shure if I can just soder the wires back together.

is their anything I need to know before I try to repare it? I

just solder the wires to matching colors and seperate them so the wores arent touching by putting electrical tape then you wrap electric tape around the main wire ( the one the hold all the wires in it, that your dog chewed up) then it should be ok, never tried it but i tried for other stuff such as phone chargers and stuff

good, im glad thats all it takes. I should be able to soder it this weekend when I got o my gradparents, I dont own a sodering iron.

what about that white string thing in the ceter of all the shords? is thats just for insolation or somthing?
