Swap Magic + Modchip?

Will Swap Magic still work if used on a PS2 that already has a modchip installed in it? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Swap Magic always requires some way of changing discs without letting the PS2 know that you've doing so. That is, Slide Tools or Flip Top Case for fat PS2 and Magic Keys, Tissue and Tape or Flip Top Lid for slim PS2.
As long as you have one of those methods it should work.
Though I'm not entirely sure why you would want to use Swap Magic if you have a mod chip...

This modchip seems to be unable to play import games, so I wanna get a Swap magic to rectify that.

It seems you have an old modchip :) Regardless a swap magic will definitely fix your import problems. Just make sure to buy a fliptop or magic switch depending on your ps2 version.

Are the swap magic discs compatiable with every game though ive heard they cant play alot of older games you cant play ps1 games either

A swap magic does what its intended to do. It can only play Ps2 games. It has a 99 percent compatibility rate with ps2 games from what i have heard.

The breaker pro can be used with it to play ps1 games.

Swap Magic has given me a lot of trouble in that playing burnt backups with it has killed the laser in two PS2s I've had in the last two months. When they still worked Swap Magic ran every game I tried on it though, so I'd agree that it has good compatibility. I'm just too scared of breaking another PS2 to use it anymore.
