Hi I legally own the game Crash Bash - Wrath of Cortex.

I'm trying to back it up and I see that it is a CD not DVD. I have followed the tutorial to convert the CD files to DVD on here http://teammodders.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=264 and I find that it doesn't work...all that happens is when I load the DVD it says loading for about 3 seconds and then goes into a black screen.

I also followed the tutorial to copy it on a CD here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/353503 but when I try to load it all that happens is the CD spins ultimately fast but nothing happens and I turn it off quickly to avoid breaking the PS2.

Is there any reasons for these problems?

Thanks for help much appreciated.

Oh yeah there is no problem with the media I use...I've burnt many games with my current CD and DVD media and there isn't a problem except with this crash Bash

Which game are you actually on about here?
Cos 'Crash Bash' is a PsOne game, but 'Crash Bandicoot: Wrath Of Cortex' is a PS2 game.

Do your research. There is NO SUCH game title on PS2 as 'Crash Bash: Wrath Of Cortex', you are mixing the titles of 2 separate games on 2 separate consoles!

Glad we got that sorted out!

Use CloneCD to make an image of your original to your Hard Drive, then use CloneCD again to burn it to CD-R.
Should work just fine.

What do you use to boot backups? Swap Magic or a modchip?
