hi people i was just wondering well to be honest praying that someone on here can help me.i have 2 psp's one on 3.01 and on that i think is a factory 2.6 both have IC6001 printed inside the umd drive in the top corner.i have been told that this code makes them the ta-082 version and that means they cant be downgraded?is this true???? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SOMEBODY HELPPPPPPPPP :)

you can only downgrade from 2.71 or below,you can´t downgrade from higher then 2.71 so the psp with 3.01 there is nothing for now ,the psp with 2.6 see this to see if it is a ta-082

if it is you can´t downgrade, but you can upgrade to 2.71 and still run isos ,dont upgrade higher then 2.71, to run isos in a motherboard ta-082 with a firmware 2.71 see this

hi there wow that was a speedy reply thanks :) mines a ic6001 so does that mean it is possible to downgrade i think thats what it says on that link you sent?if so could you help me with the downgrade?

Hi all ...ok, here's the deal, after two days of pulling my hair out hopefully i can at least get an answer on here. I purchased a subscription for my son at pspblender. After i bought the subscribtion and followed a trillion different directions to no avail i read that the ISO games on the site can not be played on his psp because he upgraded to 3.01. also the directions kept saying to put in a umd ....Put in a umd? aren't umd's already all games or movies ? I would appreciate any feedback at all. Should i just "eat" the payment i paid to them or is he going to actually be able to use there site.

well i did the same thing and im stuck with psp blender the only thing you can do is download music you cant get games with 3.01
