Try AviDemux. Failing that, it might actually be easier to use AVI2DVD to convert each one to a DVD in a separate folder and then author them into one DVD using whatever DVD editing software you may already have, if any. Womble MPEG DVD Wizard is good.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

You can use a fast convert tool for so many AVI fies.WinAVI is what you need.It also can merge files into one, then give you DVD folder with VIDEO_TS folder in it.

Ok thanks
I am using "convertXToDVD" to do this,, it seems to work well and is easy to use ,,,,,,,,,,,,only what is happening is each AVI file gets a menue position which is fine only when i play the dvd it stops at the end of each AVI file and goes to the menue screen where i have to start the next file...i would rather the dvd just played all the way through ......... is there a setting in convertxtodvd or would one of your methods play all the way through without stopping ........cheer's
