XenoGC - No Disc error

I just installed a XenoGC into my GameCube, and tried to run a burned game on Ritek G04 media. I'm getting the same screen that I get when I start my gamecube without a disc inserted, though. Original games run fine, which makes me wonder if the problem is that I didn't solder the XenoGC on correctly. I have adjusted the pot to around 180 from something like 600 before. I did not run fstfix on the image before I burned it, because it was the correct size. Should I have?

if you are getting the normal screen in the beginning you need to check all your soldering points.. somehting is not connected correctly

yeah , but if he's able to use originals , then he shouldnt be having a problem ....
i think it could be his media or the program e burns with.
