When I delete a large number of emails (say 100MB) in outlook 03, I see the size of folder decrease by that amount and the .pst file, when I remove/permananently delete from deleted items folder. Yet the total free space does not increase so I assume it is still there "somewhere". My question is how do I remove from the HD, is there a temp folder or something where this resides?

Hi

If you open OE click on Tools>Options>Maintenance then click on Store Folder a window with Store Location will open showing you where it is, assuming your using XP that is. It will also give you the option to change its location so its easier to get to...

Hope this is of help...
